The Unit has a 4 button keypad (1) starts the menu of tests (distance, maximal, sub-maximal and incremental). (2) starts the results display routine. (3) toggles the TEST signal on the flywheel LED. (4) starts the calibration routine When first switched on the unit is in standby mode shown by the bar graph sweeping up and down continuously and the relative humidity, air pressure in millibars and temperature being displayed. The Test key (3) flashes the infra red emitter on the flywheel sensor to simulate the flywheel rotating so that the unit can be tested or a simulated test run during instruction etc., and is cancelled by a pressing Key (3), resetting the interface or running a test on the interface. The PC obtains the rooms environment from the interface and shows this on screen during tests, the interface only shows this on its display when in standby mode. When entering values on the interface:- Key (1) is generally used to increase values. Key (2) is generally used to decrease values. Key (3) is generally used to enter values. Key [4] is generally used to escape the current screen to the next one or terminate the test or recovery early. |
