Note 1 concerning item 8 on page 15 (if you are not familiar with working in DOS):-

A. Exit to D.O.S. as you normally do to start Trainer Software
B. Change to 'Kingcycle' directory
C. Type 'EDIT RES.KNG' then press RETURN or ENTER
D. You should then see the DOS EDIT.COM editor with the contents of RES.KNG displayed, this is probably 1.000E+00
E. Change the 1 to 3
F. Save the file pressing ALT F S
G. Exit by pressing ALT F X
H. Now run KING as normal.

Note 2 concerning item 8 on page 15.

Q: We have changed the sensitivity but are now unable to test that out as we are coming up with an error message that it is not recognising the outside device. Error message of return code = 8000. We have checked everything from the box to the computer and the Kingcycle to the box and it all appears to be fine. Can you tell us what the return code = 8000 message is referring to and what we need to do to fix the problem.........."

A: The Return code means the pc coms port has timed out. Are you using the supplied long grey lead with 25 way connectors on each end? You MUST use this lead even if the computer has only a 9 way connector. If this is not the problem can you try a different coms port eg com2 or a different pc to try and isolate the problem. Have you tried resetting the Computer Interface by powering it down and then up before starting the Kingcycle software.
